You really have to try it in minicomm to isolate the issue to hardware or a specific app. Also, I have had issues on a 7553 using an rs232 connection where for some unexplained reason, my dev/ttyxxx driver stops working on that device and I have to forcefully reinitialize the driver. And then sometimes I can't get it back for anything save a reboot of the controller. You might try forcing the driver to rebuild....I don't have access to my script right now, to give you more details, but you basically just call the portion of the tsuart script that's in your startup. I've found PPP to be quite quirky at times but after 3 years of fighting I've finally got it "bullet proof" in my configuration. |
