[ts-7000] Tri-state with a 7200 DIO

I have a "smart" relay that has a tri-state control line:

Control line to 12V = relay closed
Control line open = relay on automatic (closes and opens based on 
internal logic)
Control line to ground = relay open

I'd like to be able to control this via my 7200. 

Is there some way to do tri-state logic at 12V or am I looking at relays?
