 Yep, that did the trick. For whatever reason, the hardware or driver needs to be told not to use flow control on the Technologics ARM. Code works fine on other Linux platforms.

You have to set the serial connection with no flow control. Neither software nor hardware control.

I'm running TS Linux 2.6.29, and when I try to send a break on a USB serial port, it simply ignores it and doesn't send a break. Has anyone else seen this problem? I've tried multiple USB serial ports which successfully generate a break on later versions of Linux.
