Does anyone have experience using the TS-ETH2?

I'm having an issue with one where Port 2 doesn't seem to work unless I
set its IRQ to IRQ 7.

I have the jumpers set as detailed in the Getting Started documentation
for Port 1 IRQ 6 and Port 2 IRQ 5.

I load the drivers for the ports by:

modprobe -o ts-eth2-1 ax88796b mem=0x200 irq=33
modprobe -o ts-eth2-2 ax88796b mem=0x240 irq=22

However, when I attempt to bring port 2 up by "ifconfig eth2 up", I get
an error:

eth2: unable to get IRQ 22 (errno=-22)

I asked TS about this and Michael Peters said that IRQ 5 was used a lot
and best avoided.

I was skeptical that this error was due to other devices using IRQ 5,
because I believe that there is a different symptom when that happens. When I use IRQ 7 instead, I occasionally get a message like "too much work for IRQ 7" because I am also using a TS-GSM1 board with that IRQ. However, Michael did not reply to my follow up query about that.

If I try IRQ 6 instead, the port seems to come up fine but it is not
useable (no pings go out the default route). Port 1 seems to work
normally with different IRQs.

Is this board defective?

Don
