You don't need to see the four partitons to transfer the image to the SD card. 
Just use dd to transfer the image directly to the device.

dd if=2gbsd-eclipse-latest.dd of=/dev/sdc bs=1024

(of course, be completely certain that the destination device *IS the SD flash 
card*

You can use kpartx to access the individual partitions on a conventional 
desktop host, by mounting the partitons on loop devices.
