Quick update if someone interested:

It seems copying libs from the board wasn't a good idea. Actually, using 
apt-get don't seems to grab .la files used but libtools and probably dpkg so it 
don't works for linking afterwards.

I ended up grabbing the source for everything (tslib, libjpeg, libpng, sdl, 
sdl_image, etc) and compiled them all using ./configure calls with hundreds of 
custom parameters and it worked at the end.

If someone have a better way of doing things, I'm all ear.
