Thanks, Thierry. I contacted TS support, and Michael Peters responded
with the following:
"The answer to this is a little more complicated and may bear further
research. The appropriate AT command to access the imei once it has been
set is at+cgsn, and as far as I can tell the IMEI can be set -once- by
using at+wimei=<imei#>
The trick is so far I have not been able to overwrite the default imei#
of 012345678901234. The only time the modem is supposed to return an
error response from at+wimei=<number> is when the number has already
been set once. It can only be reset by the factory according to GSM 3.03
standard.
I suspect the imei is set by Wavecom (now a subsidiary of Sierra
Wireless) to an invalid number because the modem is intended to be used
in conjunction with a SIM card. The only real answer I can give you then
is that the IMEI, as set by the manufacturer is just as the modem
reports. I would ask AT&T if they can send you an active SIM card for
use in the device instead, as they have been tested and function as
intended with an active SIM present (our most recent test was using a
T-Mobile SIM card)."

Hi Don,
with a GX64 board I use the AT+CGSN command and it works fine, but
with the Q64 using the same just give :
012345678901234
which is clearly not the IMEI ...
I think you will have to ask TS support.
