[ts-7000] ts7800ctrl fails after AVR reflash

Hi!

I updated the AVR as directred in the product errata. The process seemd 
successful. After the update the ts7800ctl program aborts with an asserion:
twi_select: Assertion `(s==0x18)||(s==0x40)`failed

I have tried to rerun the reflash program, but that did not work. The reflash 
program failed in several stages:
First with the same assersion from twi_select.
Second it says the eefile is detected as invalid format.

Any pointers as to how to correct this?
