These are mounted in the fast-boot environment, so the
scripts that do the start-up can be modified to do this. Just remember 3
things: 1) make a copy of the SD card so you can get back to where you were 2) The real boot-up may require some of these, so check that out 3) Be sure to use save in the fast-boot environment, to make the changes permanent.From: al <> To: Sent: Friday, December 9, 2011 9:40 AM Subject: [ts-7000] TS-7500 SD card Mount We are using a stock TS-7500 SD card from which Debian Linux is booted. The card is mounted read/write so that we can store configuration information on the SD card, having no other non-volatile storage on the card.
The current linuxrc-sdroot file mounts the whole card (all 4 partitions) as either read/write or read-only. I was curious if anyone has found a way to mount the individual partitions, some read-write, some read-only. I have yet to see anything in the literature regarding this issue, so any assistance is gratefully accepted. Thank you. Mitch __._,_.___
