I had the same problem and assumed it was a lack of RAM, especially since they put everything in one giant C file essentially... Could be wrong... I ended up compiling on a TS-7800 and copying the binary over...

Hey Guys,

I am currently using a TS-7553 board, and I am having issues compiling SQLite from source. I was able to accomplish this on my TS7200 no problem (although it did take about 25 hours to complete). However, I cannot seem to get it to run successfully on my TS-7553. It continues to freeze fairly early in the process. I have tried it on 3 separate occasions now for a long time, including over the weekend.

I have verified that the source tarball is uncorrupted, and I have redownloaded and reunpacked it. The problem seems to be on the board itself (as opposed to the source code) and I am getting a little frustrated. Has anyone had any luck making this on their TS-7500 board?

I'm running a custom-compiled 2.6.24 Debian kernel. The "make" command has worked perfectly in every other compile, it's just this that keeps giving me a hard time. Does anyone have any sort of insight as to what the issue may be? Or does anyone have a successfully compiled SQLite source on the TS-7500 series?

Thanks for all of your help!
