Netbeans and eclipse are both available on Linux From: Ian Thompson <> To: Sent: Thursday, November 3, 2011 10:51 AM Subject: [ts-7000] Re: IDEs There seems to be a developing trend for companies to deliver
Windows-based development tools for embedded Linux without the same tools for Linux! As for IDEs, I have a, somewhat irrational, prejudice against Java [write once, run slowly everywhere] and would prefer not to use the clunky Eclipse or Netbeans IDEs. I've just downloaded Code::Blocks and Codelite and will evaluate them. Ian T.
