I looked at those briefly, along with several other serial server solutions.  I would prefer to crack the serial packet on the serial server, and be able to run a test sequence  for each connected device.  This is for a QA room application, where device outputs need to be monitored, along with setting different operating levels (minute timeframe between commands)  do you have any experience using the digi serial servers?
