Peter-

Thanks for the reply! I still have some basic questions in order to understand
the environment correctly.

1. The TS-4800 card attached to the display has a microSD in it. Is this
where the system is booting from? Or does it boot from XNAND somewhere else?
Changing the system to r/w would probably work for my application but I'd
rather let the system run in RAM and simply load the application from somewhere
else. Are you using an SD card via USB? The kit we bought came with one
marked "TS-4800" but as far as I can see it is "empty" - it isn't recognized
under Linux (or Windows).

2. My hope is to use wxPython, which someone mentioned once here but w/o info
on how to get it running on these ARM boards. I was assuming that apt-get will
pull things for x86 and not ARM? If wxPython won't work (can't run or too
slow) I'll switch to GTK+.

3. I neglected to ask about cross-compiler tools as well though I don't mind
developing on the device.

4. Finally, is there a way to adjust the baud rate on the serial console?

Thanks for the help!

Ron
