We're playing with the TS-7553 that has the ASUS USB wireless adaptor. My plan,
this coming monday, is to download and install the newer 2.6 debian image from
the TS guys and install that. After that, we'd like to explore putting a
different adaptor on that would make it easier to configure the thing as a base
station configuration. So I'm looking for recommendations, as to what adaptors
have that ability and are well supported by the 2.6 debian series. Has anyone
done something like this with a TS board?
I've had limited success getting ad-hoc mode to work (meaning sometimes it
works and sometimes it doesn't, and I have no idea why). Ad-hoc is a good start
for prototyping for us, but we'd like the base station AP. I'm told the drivers
for the ASUS are only capable of ad-hoc right now.
Thanks for any help you can give!
