Since you have a working RedBoot, you're probably far from bricked.
What does 'fis list' say? Perhaps there is a kernel there, but its name
isn't vlinux. Try using fconfig to put in an appropriate boot script.
You have several ways to load a kernel image into memory and program
it to flash, if the kernel is missing. RTFMs! Google is your friend.

Hello again everyone.

I have another ts7260 and I'm trying to find out if it's bricked. When I start it up, TS-BOOTROM runs, I get to the Reboot prompt, but the 'fis load vlinux' step of loading the kernel fails, says "No image 'vlinux' found"

Is this a complete dead end? I was handed this board and told that it might be bricked, but the giver was unspecific.

Also, here's the output of 'fconfig -l' Looks like I am indeed missing the boot script. Is it possible to get vlinux some where and load it onto the board again?

Thanks!
