Have a look at /etc/inittab. If you see a getty on com2 (either ttyAM1 or ttyS1), comment it out. Worked for me when I was trying to get my serial ports talking to things that weren't the console. PLK On Tue, Apr 5, 2011 at 9:53 AM, Great Tiger <> wrote:
