[ts-7000] boot splash image

I'm using a TS-8390 with a TS-4800 processor. Does anyone have a 
suggestion for an appropriate boot splash package? I'm looking at 
splashy as there is a Debian package for it, but are there better (read 
easier to use) splash packages?

TS supplies a simple application to load a static image, but I'd like to 
get a progress bar. I'm currently loading the full multiuser 
distribution from the SD card. It takes 30 seconds or so.
