[ts-7000] Powering the TS-7500

Hi,

Currently (pun not intended..), while developing on my TS-7500, i power it from 
the USB cable. My question, however, is how to best power the device when it's 
on its own? I plan to have it battery powered via a 5V dc regulator, but how 
would i best connect it to the device?

I'm actually hoping to be embarrassed here, it seems like a trivial question, 
but the only way i found so far is to construct a custom power to usb-cable, or 
possibly using the ground and +5V pin on the 44 pin header, but I wasn't sure 
if that was really intended..
