I've never used tmpfs, but the big difference as I recall between ramfs
and using /dev/ramX entries is ramfs will use only as much ram as there
is stuff stored in it where using /dev/ramX every time you mount one you
allocate that chunk of RAM to the mount. If you're only mounting a 32k
(the default size as I remember) /dev/ramX entry, who cares :)
