Hello Paul,

I know, it is very late to answer, but I am new at TS-7260 board and I just had 
the same problem : "Error Expected '>' but found '<'" after using Serial 
Blaster and boot.bin as explained.

The solution came by reading the post of Yur_Grampa :
change in the file serial_blaster.c - function OutputFile() the line :

WriteByte(fd,ch,TRUE);
by :
WriteByte(fd,ch, ((x%1024) == 0) );

This accelerates the transfert by preventing continuous flushing and avoids the 
8s reset to take place during transmission.

Then I could have the Redboot prompt.

I hope it can help somebody...
