[ts-7000] Repurposing serial port 0 on a 7350?

Okay, so UART 0 on a 7350 is used for console input and output normally.  Is it 
possible to turn all of this off and reuse the port to talk to something else 
e.g. a GPS device.  Assume here that ports 1 and 2 are in use by other devices.
