I am not sure where all of your issues came from, the ax88796b driver is loaded
by default in full Debian (I do not believe it gets loaded in the fastboot
shell). The kernel and modules of the TS-73x0 are all already using the EABI
format, it is the userspace tools that still used OABI. The reason behind this
is because when the first of this series was released, Debian Etch was the
current stable which did not have EABI support at that time. We do have a
distribution available on our FTP site that uses Lenny armel EABI binaries:
ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7350-linux/distributions/debian-lenny-eabi-armel-512mb-apr092009.tar.gz

The reason we have not switched to EABI is simply because we have locked the
image in place so we can provide repeat customers with the same software. Only
minor tweaks have been made between image releases since the first image was
created.
