I have similar problems loading QT applications but on EABI/Lenny it does seem good bit faster.

I'm curious what sort of time other people are getting with starting Java applications under Debian on the the TS7390 (or other systems).

I've noticed that both on the sample helloworld program and with my own programs that it takes upwards of 15 seconds to start a Java gui application. After that, execution seems normal. The GTK examples also have a delay, but nowhere near that of the Java gui apps.

Any suggestions on this? I'm using the Debian distro that came with the 2gb sd card.
