Hi Kris,

I didn't have any luck getting eclipse and cygwin working from the files on the SD card in the application kit. Ronald sent some info but I still couldn't make it work. I downloaded eclipse from their website and MinGW and followed the very good step by step instructions at Max Bergers website. Once i did this I could compile and build the object files. I transferred some simple binary files to the 7390 and they ran OK.

I bought the 7390 because I thought it would be easier to get some plots on the screen than with a SBC without a display. What I would like to know not in great detail but in an overview, how can I run my C++ programs and get my plots on the display. I expect I will need gnuplot to do this. I you could point me in the right direction on this it would be a great help.

Thanks

John

John,

Would you please let me know what suggestions/documentation you followed so we can review them and make any necessary changes? You do not need to reply here if you wish, you can just send an email to support%40embeddedarm.com. Thank you.

One sight I found very helpful in getting the eclipse crosscompiler to work is at maxberger.com. At his site are step by step instructions for setting up eclipse.

Following the included quick start instructions I have not been able to get eclipse to load in a XP of Win7 system. This seem to be a Java issue. Has anyone else found this to be the case and worked out a solution?
