Hi all,
I have a TS-7800 model and have heavy dependencies on the GPIO functionality of
the PC/104 headers. Unfortunately it seems that the GPIOs are not responding
properly, as in certain pins will not drive high or low when programmed.
I have used these GPIOs multiple times and am afraid it is a recent
development, however most of my use of the pins has revolved around the lower
level of the A-Block on the PC/104 header, and only recently have I moved the
multiple components we are using to different areas of the PC/104. Now firstly,
I have looked over the manual hundreds of times and am certain that I am
setting the appropriate state, direction and data registers (it also appeared
that the state registers had to be explicitly written low every time GPIO
functionality was to be used, is this normal?) and am 99.9% certain that that
is not the issue, of course I will be looking over the code again, and again.
Most specifically it seems everything on the B-Block at B[20] and beyond will
not respond, and then certain pins on the D-Block as well (as in writing the
entire register as outputs and pushing them all low, some D pins remain high,
and no they are not the voltage pins, I have also checked this.)
So I was wondering if there was perhaps something I was overlooking that would
drive these pins other then user run programs? Or am I correct in my rising
suspicions that the board may be damaged?
Any input would be much appreciated,
thanks,
Josh.
