Just take a look at those online. Both of them have lots of ports (and pins) broken out. I'm not sure about the on board ADCs, but the hawkboard, for example, has two SPI ports.

I didn't buy one yet, but I know people who did and they are very happy with them.

Sorry about the lengthy post, but I felt my intentions with the board needed to be detailed before I started asking questions.

Here's a summary of my requirements:

1) I need audio IO (and not "multimedia capability").
2) I need DIO and ADC.
3) I would prefer the board being able to run in low-power mode when powered by the car battery after the engine has stopped.
4) I need the CPU to be able to decode MP3 when in "usage mode"; not when in low-power mode.

Since you know the BeagleBoard, can you please confirm whether it conforms with these requirements compared to a TS-7602?
