I have just installed Technologic's ECLIPSE IDE on a Windows PC connected to a
TS7800 via ethernet and RS232.

I have managed to compile and run the provided "helloworld" program, no problem.

I am now trying to compile the provided "tempSensor" program. However this is
giving me a run time error with the open() low level driver function returning
-1.

I am aware this is something to do with user permissions and related to the
user having the wrong privileges, or the executable being installed in the
wrong place.

Previously I have been copying the ARM executable from the PC using the "remote
Systems" tab to "TS-7000 FTP server/Files/MyHome" which I assume is some kind
of alias for a user folder somewhere. This works with helloworld, but not with
tempSensor. I assume I need to copy it to some other root folder, but draggin
into "TS-7000 FTP Server/Files/Root" doesn't seem to work.

Can somebody explain what I need to do(in ECLIPSE IDE terms) to get this
working?

Thanks

PS who's RONALD?
