Subject: [ts-7000] Pls help - COM1 on TS7260 blocks tilt sensor board

I have a problem with TS7260 COM port. I am trying to use COM1 port to read
tilt sensor data. Sometimes the tilt sensor works good, and sometimes it
"hangs" during power on. I narrowed down the problem to the fact that TS7260
is sending something on COM1 during boot time, which occasionally blocks tilt
sensor board. I already disabled getty() and removed JP2 jumper (so COM1
should not be acting as console). Does anybody know what processes are trying
to send data on the COM1 during boot-up time and how to turn off these
processes?

I am running "standard" off-the-shelf 7260 with 2.4.26 kernel. I can not use
COM2 because it is already used for other purpose. Both 7260 and tilt sensor
board are powered up at the same time.
