I am new to the 7260 and am trying to install git (the source code control
system, not Gnome Interactive Tools). I get an error "E: Couldn't find package
git-core" package when I try to install git-core.
Below is a copy of the console log:
:/# apt-get install git-core
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package git-core
:/#
Here is some information about the system:
:/# cat /etc/apt/sources.list
#deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian stable main contrib non-free
#deb ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian stable main contrib non-free
deb http://archive.debian.org/debian sarge main contrib non-free
:/# uname -a
Linux ts7000 2.4.26-ts11 #35 Thu Jul 6 15:44:29 MST 2006 armv4l GNU/Linux
:/#
Any suggestions on how to install git-core would be appreciated.
Roger
