Hi,
sorry I should have said explicitly , I'm booting nfsroot so I don't think
there's much scope for passing parameters.
Maybe I could try a remount. That may give more info.
The "vers=2" suggests something is going wrong on initial connections both
kernels (2.6.29) are built with v3.
