I'm not planning to keep tons of stuff on the third partition to keep it 
optimized as you say but while you're experimenting, a little more breathing 
room would be helpful.  300K of free space is enough to work it for developing 
the startup scripts.  But more inodes would help and keep me from scratching my 
head for hours wondering if the whole file system is hosed.
