AFAIK Matthieu dropped this in his 2.6.32.3 patch set (but it was still there 
in 2.6.32-*rc3* patch set).  So if you are running 2.6.32.3, then you are 
inserting an old module (unless you forward ported it).

If you are running 2.6.32-rc3, then I don't know what is the issue.  I doubt it 
is a udev rule though, as udev takes care of device nodes not sysfs entries.

Any clues in kernel logs?
