I've compiled the 2.6.32 kernel using matt's patch, but unfortunatelly the system hangs when trying to boot this new kernel..
Anyone knows what might be happening?

       Has anybody used web cam with TS 7260's 2.4 kernel? Any recommendations
on the hardware? 

I'm in a similar situation. I've been trying to use a webcam with the TS7250 board with 2.4 kernel, but untill now no success. It seems that the drivers I need (gspca_main and gspca_pac207) are available on kernels newer than 2.6.28. My next try is to use Matt's kernel patch to compile the 2.6.28 kernel using the arm-none-linux-gnueabi toolchain. I will inform you as soon as I have results.
