TS7500 alone has 8 x TTL not 8 x RS232.

So you have to convert TTL to RS232 by using a converter.

 

I was able to build a circuit board with 4 serial RS232 ports using xuart 0 ~ 3 .

And I tested all 4 serial OK.

 

But I am having some weird uart driver issue when I run my program very fast.

So I think I may have to upgrade FPGA program

I'm possibly just about to hit the same problem. I am building a circuit board with 4 serial ports on it and expect to use xuart0..3.
