I agree with Peter (although his use of 'pull' instead of 'push' is 
counter-intuitive :)

It is a long standing security feature of FTP that transferred files are NOT 
executable by default even if the original is. On the TS7250 the ftpd doesn't 
do this IF the destination file exists AND is executable.

ps - you shouldn't change your app so often! Can't you write it once and get it 
right first time?  (Me neither)
