Blair,

As for the TP-Link WN321G: One reason I chose it is that it should work
under Linux/ARM because source code drivers are available for it. Many
WiFi adapters are only supported in Linux/x86 because they use native
Windows drivers and the ndiswrapper.

I don't have instructions how to install it under Linux/ARM and I also don't
have my TS-7400 yet - it is still in transit.

However, I've kind of decided to drop ARM and go to x86 after all - once I
factor in things like audio and Java the x86 platform just offers better support
for the things I need out of the box.

I've found the ALIX 3D2 and 3D3 boards which are very cost effective and
get good reviews on the web. Also, their Linux support is very robust and
many hardware add-ons seem to work out of the box (including WiFi):

(I am not associated with ALIX in any way but I've spent a lot of time searching
for an embedded solution so I thought it would be useful to share the info).

Cheers,

That has potential. Would you mind posting the steps you used on the board OS to get everything configured properly? I messed with the IOGear somewhat but could never get it to do anything other than ad-hoc.
