The yaffs filesystem written by the 2.4 kernel is not compatible with the the
ones written by 2.6. 2.4 kernels cannot read 2.6-written yaffs and 2.6 kernels
cannot read 2.4-written yaffs. Actually it may be the MTD subsystem, not sure.
So you have mount a nfs rootfs using the 2.6 kernel and from there do some fs
operations, cannot recall exactly what (eraseall, etc).
