Hi all, I'm trying to install a ITK24i thermal printer in a TS7800 by USB. I have taked the drivers from
http://www.practicalautomation.com/download/
I've followed the instructions in readme file to install like this and go well,

:itk24i# ./install.sh
`libpa_status.so.0.0' -> `/usr/lib/libpa_status.so.0.0'
`libpa_conf.so.0.0' -> `/usr/lib/libpa_conf.so.0.0'
Configure shared libraries
`pa_edit_conf' -> `/usr/sbin/./pa_edit_conf'
`pa_paper_prtd' -> `/usr/sbin/./pa_paper_prtd'
`pa_flash_update' -> `/usr/sbin/./pa_flash_update'
`libpa_status.h' -> `/usr/local/include/./libpa_status.h'
`pa_typedefs.h' -> `/usr/local/include/./pa_typedefs.h'
`pa_version' -> `/usr/sbin/./pa_version'
Example start up scripts are available for Redhat and SuSe.
see pa_paper_prt.redhat and pa_paper_prt.suse

but when try to make a new file configuration the shell returns

:itk24i# pa_edit_conf --new
-bash: /usr/sbin/pa_edit_conf: cannot execute binary file

I've tried with ./, giving all the permission etc but always the same.
The readme file says:
  If this is the first time the pa_paper_prt daemon is installed,
  you must run pa_edit_conf to create a new printer configuration
  file. Issue the command: pa_edit_conf --new

  After completing the creation of the printer configuration,
  start the daemon with the following command:

  for Redhat: (do this as root) service pa_paper_prt start

  for SuSe: (do this as root) /etc/init.d/pa_paper_prt start

Could be that the binary file doesn't work with debian?
thanks a lot
