I haven't seen any more postings about a driver, but TS now has some example C
code on their ftp site that exercises this board. Still userspace, but might
be a be better starting point for you than the shell routines in the .lib file.

I agree, seems like a disconnect between marketing and engineering groups. The
ADC-16 page says 'linux drivers available', where I thought it used to say
'linux drivers still coming'. Either way they should make it more clear that
there is no kernel driver available from TS without funding one. (If some
$deeppocket corp *does* fund one, it would likely not be released).
Maybe the problem is TS using 'driver' on the web page, when they should have
put 'userspace utility'. I doubt TS believes the full board capabilities can
be reached from userspace.
I'm not against writing drivers for well documented HW, but the TS website
should be clear in what's required. After all, they never released a kernel
driver for the MAX197 A/D option, and the community stepped up. But then, TS
didn't advertise that a MAX197 driver was available either.
