thanks Charlie for ur reply but i have another question:
The toolchain that is used to build the linux kernel is always different than
the toolchain that is used to build the linux programs or applications?

For Example:
i have Ts-7800 board, the cross-compiler that is supported by embedded arm
company is "arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc" to build the linux kernel but when i
use this toolchain to build my application, it does not run. I have to use
another toolchain "arm-linux-gcc" to compile the linux programs then run them
successfully.
