we have a problem of 2.6.21 kernel compilation.

However. we could solve the compilation issue by changing the crosstool chain
from '
gcc-3.3.4-glibc-2.3.2' to 'gcc-4.0.1-glibc-2.3.5'. We also disabled EABI
support in the kernel
configuration. The zImage size is comming to 909988Bytes. This build was with
the default kernel
configuration for TS7300 board available in ts7300_code.tar.gz. Is this
procedure correct?

Also we downloaded the '2.6.21-ts' modules from the FTP site, and copied to
'/lib/modules' of root
file system in part3 of MMC card. Can we know which cross toolchain was used to
build these modules
available at you FTP site?

When we tried to boot the board with this new zImage, the board is not booting
with a reset for
every about 3 seconds. Even we are not seeing any messages on VGA port also. No
messages on serial
console too.

Could you please suggest us about default kernel configuration file, toolchain
we should use for
2.6.21 kernel. Also, please clarify about root filesystem to be used for 2.6
kernel. Can we use same
2.4 kernel's root filesystem.
