This product is pretty slick.

It uses an FTDI USB-to-serial converter. I just checked it on a 7260 running
the stock Debian distro. Works great.
The docs for the product are good. Example code and drivers are available.
They even have drivers for Mac OSX.
I was expecting a flimsy plastic enclosure but this is a nice hefty metal
enclosure. The buttons can be set up to generate "events" or polled. There
are four bicolor LEDs that you can mess with too.
So, if you're looking for a simple off-the-shelf ready-to-go interface for your
SBC project, check it out.
Interesting quirk with the FTDI driver that perhaps somebody can shed some
light on. When I plug this puppy into my Mac, /dev has a tty entry with what
appears to be a product number but on the 7260 it shows up as ttyUSB0. This
dovetails into my earlier question of how you can distinguish between two
FTDI-based devices.
