You may need do this. I've done my final yr project usin QT and the TS-7390 and I blogged everything at http://automon.donaloconnor.net/ I've the compiling steps done at: http://automon.donaloconnor.net/cross-compiled-qt-embedded-step-by-step/74/ I've installing and configuring Tslib for touch screen at: http://automon.donaloconnor.net/installing-tslib-and-calibrating-it/83/ I've deployment and set up of QT at http://automon.donaloconnor.net/deploying-qt-embedded-443-on-the-board/88/ Hope that helps.
