[ts-7000] TS - 7390 bought in January

Good afternoon,
I am having troubles with the TS-7390 I bought in January. Apparently there's 
no ftpd installed and running, so that i cannot move files with ftp. I am not a 
linux expert, could you please help me to solve this?
And do you have maybe the details on how to install the RT extensions?
