It has been about a year since I last worked with the TS7800, so I have gotten
rusty on some of the details. I downloaded the latest development image and
burned it onto an SD card, and it seems to work OK. My current system has a
TS7800, TS7KV, and a TS-ADC16.

I tried to install some new software which requires new versions of the
libraries, so I thought I would see about getting Debian Lenny to run. So I
made a fresh copy of the development SD onto an 8GB card, deleted the fourth
partition, replaced it with a bigger partition, formatted that new partition as
JFS, then untarred the file debian-lenny-eabi-armel-512MB-mar032009.tar into
the new partition. This booted up OK.

OK, so now I had a copy of Lenny running on the TS7800, but my TS7KV video card
did not start up. I went looking for the drivers and such, and found the
load_ts7kv program, but it refuses to run, probably because it was compiled for
a 2.4 kernel and dynamically-linked libraries. So I downloaded the source and
tried to compile it, but it needs TS-specific header files such as peekpoke.h
and ts_id.h; that is where I got stuck. I looked through the various source and
cross-compilation tarballs, both on-line and on the TS utility CD, and could
not find those files anywhere. Can someone point me to the right place to find
and/or download these? Thanks.

All of this was exacerbated by the fact the ftp.embeddedarm.com seems to have
been up and down all day today and yesterday.
