I'd use TS' Cross-Compiler. I've tried compiling things on the ARM and
its *slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow* -- Really Slow.

As for porting things over, its not hard. Compile like you would a
normal app but with the cross-compiler, then move your code over with
binaries and do the installation.
