strace pointed me that smbfs.o was the module which made my depmod fail! smbfs.o in 2.4.26-ts11 has an unresolved do_div64 symbol. Solution : I have added div64.o to the Makefile in linux24/fs/smbfs/Makefile and symlinked the div64.o from another location! >make modules and copy the new smbfs.o to /lib/modules/..../smbfs/ All Solved! this link gave me the idea: http://xania.org/200607/wireless-booting-and-flash-ram-fun ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
