On the TS7390, they drop the LSB of the green bit. Graphics is still nice looking.

But I noticed on the schematic  that TS made a trick on VGA signal.
My guess is, to save some IO pins or internal resource on FPGA, or external memory, they use only 5 bits
per color (RGB-555) on the R-2R DAC (they drop 3 bits per color).  This is visible if you use some gradient
in images.  So we don't une gradient, we don't see these lost bits.
