I've been successful with the CodeSourcery G++ release on the TS-7800. Their
arm-none-linux-gnueabi toolchain works well with the old 2.6.21-ts kernel and I
was able to get multithreaded remote debug running with gdb. (Which embeddedARM
support told me wasn't possible, so far as they knew.)

I haven't tried this toolchain with lenny-eabi-armel but expect that it would
work well.

There is a free 'lite' version. For a modest license fee, they provide a full
Eclipse integration with remote debug plugin and some good sysroot tools that
will save you hours. With a license, you get prompt, expert technical support.

Try the 30 day evaluation and judge for yourself. The 30 day evaluation
includes support.

All-in-all, nicely done, and a great relief after days and days of tracking
down and building toolchains that just almost worked.

Jim
