Hi, 

your modem uses the cdc_usb driver.

On my TS7200, I issue the "insmod acm" command in the VT.

Using /lib/modules/2.4.26-ts11/kernel/drivers/usb/acm.o                         
usb.c: registered new driver acm                                                
acm.c: v0.21:USB Abstract Control Model driver for USB modems and ISDN adapters
